The Building Of
Titans

The Titan Mentorship Program was born from necessity. As the new sponsor for a young men’s group at a school I used to teach at, I needed a curriculum that spoke directly to boys in a real and practical way. I did not find much, but that was when I identified an opportunity.
With the encouragement of the youth development administrator at the time, I sat down and wrote the first draft of what would become the Titan Mentorship Program.
Youth development leadership was so pleased with the initial guide, that I was invited to help shape a broader curriculum to be used district-wide.
In response, I created a companion Facilitator's Guide to pair with the student workbook I'd already completed. That work continued to grow until it became a full, stand alone program designed for schools, alternative settings, juvenile services, and community organizations.
My goal with the Titan Mentorship Program is to equip young men with tools and experiences that build hope, confidence, competence, mental and physical strength, and real leadership. I take pride in offering a resource that is honest about the challenges boys face, respectful of the professionals who serve them, and serious about helping young men develop into disciplined, responsible, and purpose driven men.
